Service terms
Draft for launch preparation — obtain Australian legal review before relying on these terms at scale.
1. What the service includes
Scoopi Poo visually searches agreed accessible outdoor areas, collects ordinary solid dog faeces using hand tools, securely bags the waste, places it in the customer's nominated red general-waste bin and closes the agreed access gate after service.
2. What is excluded
The service does not include urine, vomit, liquid diarrhoea, dead animals, sharps, chemicals, household rubbish, hazardous material, mowing, gardening, pressure washing, pest control, veterinary advice, animal handling, yard sterilisation or routine transport of dog waste away from the property.
3. Dogs and safe access
Every dog must be securely confined inside the dwelling or in an area the operator will not enter. A dog described as friendly must still be secured. Scoopi Poo may refuse or stop work if a dog is loose, access is unsafe, the gate does not latch or an undisclosed hazard is present.
4. Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate property, gate, dog and hazard information; provide safe access; ensure the red bin is accessible; keep the service area reasonably inspectable; and disclose known infectious animal illness or persistent diarrhoea.
5. Service limitations
The service is a reasonable visual collection service and cannot guarantee that every item will be located. Waste hidden beneath long grass, leaves, furniture, stored objects or in inaccessible areas may be missed. The service does not represent that the yard becomes bacteria-, virus- or parasite-free.
6. Initial cleans and pricing
Initial-clean prices are based on customer information and photographs. If the actual condition materially exceeds the quoted scope, work may stop at the quoted allowance and a revised price may be offered before additional work continues.
7. Payment and recurring service
Recurring services are charged at the agreed rate after each completed visit using the authorised payment method. Failed payments may suspend future service. Price changes will be communicated before taking effect.
8. Cancellations and failed access
Customers should cancel or reschedule before 5:00pm on the day before service. An attendance fee may apply where service cannot be completed because a dog is unsecured, the gate is locked, access instructions are incorrect, the bin is unavailable or an undisclosed condition makes work unsafe.
9. Weather and safety
Service may be postponed or cancelled because of lightning, flooding, extreme heat, severe weather, dangerous animals, hazardous waste, aggressive conduct or any condition reasonably considered unsafe.
10. Photographs
Operational photographs may be taken of the gate, bin, general service area, hazards and relevant before/after conditions. Identifying photographs will not be used for marketing without separate permission.
11. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian consumer law.
